Ingredients to make Rose samosa

  • all purpose flour- 1bowl
  • semolina- 2tablespoons
  • oil-3tablespoons
  • salt to taste
  • Potatoes- 4-5boil n mashed
  • green chilly ginger garlic paste- 1teaspoon
  • peas-1handfull
  • coriander leaves- 1handfull
  • cumin seeds- 1/4teaspoon
  • asafoetida- a pinch
  • red chilly powder- 1/2teaspoon
  • turmeric powder- 1/4teaspoon
  • mango powder- 1/4teaspoon
  • Garam masala- 1/4teaspoon

How to make Rose samosa

  1. Take a mixing bowl add all purpose flour and semolina and salt and 2tablespoons of oil and knead a tight dough with water n keep aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan now add asafoetida and cumin seeds and splutter them.
  3. Now add green chilly ginger garlic paste and saute them fr a minute.
  4. Now add green peas and saute till they are soften.
  5. Now add boil and mashed potato, Red chilly powder, Salt, Mango powder,Turmeric powder, garam masala and coriander leaves.
  6. Saute them fr a minute. And switch off the flam n let it cool.
  7. Now make equal size peda with dough and roll them with rolling pin and make 4 small size pooris.
  8. Now place the pooris like this and fill potato masala
  9. Cover it
  10. Roll it
  11. Make a flower shape
  12. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the rose samosa till brown n crispy
