Ingredients to make 3 layer eggless strawberry custard jelly cake

  • For the strawberry cake we will require-
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup castor sugar
  • 1 tbsp strawberry custard powder
  • 1 cup lukewarm water
  • 4 tbsp oil pinch salt
  • 4 tbsp oil pinch salt
  • 1 packet red jelly
  • For a custard layer: I kg full cream milk
  • Sugar 1/2 cup
  • 4 tbsp strawberry custard powder

How to make 3 layer eggless strawberry custard jelly cake

  1. Start with the cake: sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt in a big bowl mix well and keep aside. In another bowl add sugar, water, custard powder and oil and whisk well.
  2. Add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients Mix evenly. Do not over beat. Pour into a prepared tin an bake at 180 degree in 20 minutes.
  3. Cool and take the cake out on the tray.Now line the same baking tin with butter paper and grease the sides.
  4. Cut one layer off top then set the cake on the bottom of the baking tin. Keep aside.
  5. Make the custard by dissolving custard powder in 1 cup cold milk. Now heat the remaining milk in saucepan.Add sugar stir till dissolved
  6. When the milk starts boiling, stir in the dissolved custard powder. When milk thickens turn flame off. Now pour the custard on top.Refrigerate for half an hour.
  7. Make jelly by heating 1-½ cup water in two separate pans and stir in the red jelly respectively until all the granules have dissolved.Take the cake out and pour the red jelly on top. Again freeze till the jelly sets.
  8. Serve chillled.
