Mango Peda | Mango Doodh Peda

Ingredients to make Mango Peda | Mango Doodh Peda

  • Mango puree- 1 cup
  • Milk Powder - 1 cup
  • Whole Milk- 1/4 cup
  • Heavy Cream - 1 cup
  • butter - 4 tbsp
  • Condensed milk - 1/2 tin
  • Saffron strands- few

How to make Mango Peda | Mango Doodh Peda

  1. In a sauce pan melt the butter and add the mango puree.
  2. Let the puree boil, then add heavy cream and milk to it.
  3. Mix them well and cook in a low flame.
  4. Add Milk powder and mix them well using a whisk or ladle. Make sure that there is no lump formation.
  5. Add the milk powder is mixed well add condensed milk and saffron strands.
  6. Now mix them well continuously for 10 -15 mins till the mixture leaves the pan without sticking.
  7. Once the peda mixture attains the consistency transfer the mixture to a greased bowl or plate and let it cool.
  8. Cover it with a cling wrap after it cools a bit to avoid drying up.
  9. After the peda mixture is completely cool, take equal portion and shape them to round disc.
  10. Stamp them with peda mould or make the designs using skewers.
  11. These pedas can be stored in fridge and they keep well for 4-5 days.
My Tip: These pedas taste the best next day after you make them ( as they set well)
