Gunda/Lahshore Korma

Ingredients to make Gunda/Lahshore Korma

  • 500 Gunda/Lahshore
  • 500 gms onions
  • 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
  • 50 gms ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala powder
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon Meethi seeds
  • Oil 4 tablespoons
  • salt as per taste

How to make Gunda/Lahshore Korma

  1. Firstly cut one by one Gunda and de-seed it, then washed it properly.
  2. After that blanch it for 5 minutes.
  3. Now half onion chopped and half to grind it and make paste.
  4. Then take kadhai put oil heat it. Put meethi seeds and after crackling add chopped onion and saute for 5 minutes.
  5. Then add Gunda, milk and on low flame cooked it, covering the kadhi.
  6. When Gunda half cooked add onion, ginger, garlic paste and saute it.
  7. When Gunda is totally cooked and masala is also roasted.
  8. Then add salt, Turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and cooked it for 2 minutes
  9. Enjoy this delicious korma with paratha, naan.
My Tip: Gunda is very sticky in nature, so when you deseed it wash it properly with water.
