Hariyali Kebab

Ingredients to make Hariyali Kebab

  • 3 peeled potatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup boiled peas
  • 1/2 cup chopped spinach greens
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander
  • 1tsp coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1tsp red chilli powder
  • 5 chopped green chillies
  • 1-inch piece finely chopped ginger
  • 4tsp breadcrumbs
  • few chopped coriander leaves
  • 3 tbsp ghee

How to make Hariyali Kebab

  1. 1. Wash and boil the potatoes and the spinach greens in 2 pans respectively.
  2. 2. In a large bowl, mash the boiled potatoes and the greens together. Add the other vegetables and the ginger also and mix well.
  3. 3. Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder and mix well.
  4. 4. Divide the mixture into equal portions and form balls and flatten them with your bare hands.
  5. 5. Roll these into breadcrumbs and keep in a plate.
  6. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry for 4 minutes on each side. Serve hot

My Tip:

Serve with chutney and sliced onions
