Dilkhush Paan Ice cream

Ingredients to make Dilkhush Paan Ice cream

  • Milk (full cream) - 2 cups
  • Fresh Cream - 150 ml
  • Cornflour 1 tbsp (diluted in water)
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • Gulkand - 1 tbsp
  • Betel leaves - 4 to 5
  • Green cardamom(2 pieces)
  • Fennel seeds ( 1/2 tsp)
  • Betel Nut (supari)- 4 to 5 pieces(you can use methi supari also)
  • Colored edible balls and dry coconut for garnishing

How to make Dilkhush Paan Ice cream

  1. Take a pan add milk .
  2. Add sugar in it.
  3. Wait for a good boil
  4. Add cream and cornflour ( diluted in water).
  5. Stir it very nicely and boil it till it starts getting thick.
  6. Switch off the flame
  7. For paan masala -
  8. Take Betel leaves,betel nuts,fennel seeds,green cardamom and grind them.
  9. Now take the ready milk add this paan masala into it.
  10. Add gulkand in the same.
  11. Mix it well.Now let it cool down for 10 minutes.
  12. After it gets cool ,Take the mould and add the first layer of gulkand in it (from the top).
  13. Then pour the mixture in the moulds .
  14. Freeze it for 4 to 6 hours.
  15. Demould the ice cream and garnish it with colored balls and dry coconut strands.
