Ingredients to make Onion pakoda

  • Onion 4 medium(thinly sliced)
  • Carrot 2tsp(thin slices)
  • Chick pea flour 1tbsp
  • Rice flour 1tsp
  • Salt 1pinch
  • poppy seed 1tsp

How to make Onion pakoda

  1. Slice the onions & carrot finely
  2. Make poppy seed powder
  3. In a mixing bowl add the thinly sliced onion & carrot
  4. Add rice flour, poppy seed powder,chick pea flour and a pinch of salt.
  5. Apply pressure with palm to mix all ingredients till onions become little soft
  6. No need to add water
  7. Now make little pakodas and fry them in hot oil till crisp
