Ingredients to make Baby onion sabji with a little twist

  • 1/2kg baby onions
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4tsp turmric
  • 1/8 tsp mustered seeds
  • 1/8 tsp jeera
  • Pinch of hing
  • 1tsp pav bhaji masala
  • 1tbsp dhana powder
  • 1 tsp kasoori methi
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tomato ki paste
  • 1/8 tsp saounf
  • 1/8 tsp kala jeera

How to make Baby onion sabji with a little twist

  1. Peel onions
  2. Make some cut marks on the top of the peeled onions.
  3. Heat some oil in a pan.
  4. Add mustard seeds, jeera [cumin seeds] and asafoetida [hing].
  5. Add tomato paste and the spices.
  6. Cook for 2 minutes
  7. Add onions and mix well
  8. Cook for few more minutes.
  9. Add little water for the gravy.
  10. This is ready to be served.
