Rice Kheer

Ingredients to make Rice Kheer

  • Milk 1 litre
  • Rice 5 tablespoons
  • Sugar 1/2 cup
  • Green cardamom 3
  • Raisin and cashewnuts

How to make Rice Kheer

  1. Wash the rice and keep aside.
  2. Heat milk and let it come to boil.
  3. When it will start to boil add rice and stir it constantly.
  4. When the rice has almost boiled add sugar, nuts and stir fast.
  5. Boil the milk till it becomes thick and the quantity is reduced to half.
  6. Switch off the flame and keep the kheer in the refrigerator.

My Tip:

Serve the kheer chilled.
