Royal Mango Paan

Ingredients to make Royal Mango Paan

  • Milk 1 cup
  • ghee 1 teaspoon
  • mango puree 1 /2 cup
  • Milk powder 1/2 cup
  • Beetle leaves (paan leaves) 6
  • Cherry 6
  • Silver foil for decoration (optional)
  • Gulukand 1 tablespoon
  • Paan meetha masala 1 tablespoon
  • Tutti-frutti 1 tablespoon
  • dessicated coconut 1 teaspoon
  • Roasted oats 1 tablespoon

How to make Royal Mango Paan

  1. Heat a nonstick pan, add milk and mango on high flame, stir regularly.
  2. After 7-8 minutes, add milk powder and stir regularly on high flame. When mixture leaves the pan then add ghee and switch the gas off. Keep aside.
  3. In another bowl, mix roasted oats, dessicated coconut, tutti-frutti, mitha paan masala and gulukand. Now our stuffing is ready.
  4. Now take beetle leaves and spread lukewarm mango mixture approximately 1/2 cm thickness. Cool completely then refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  5. Now fold this paan, like cone shape and stuff gulkand mixture generously, then insert a toothpick with cherry.
  6. Decorate with silver foil and enjoy.

My Tip:

Also spread lukewarm mango (not hot) mixture on beetle leaves, then leaves will be little bit softer and fold easily.
