Eggless Cake from Kalakand

Ingredients to make Eggless Cake from Kalakand

  • 150 grams maida /all purpose flour
  • 100 grams kalakand
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 75 grams butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg powder
  • 100 grams milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 100 grams sugar

How to make Eggless Cake from Kalakand

  1. In a pan add milk and let it come to boiling point.
  2. Now add kalakand to it, add butter.
  3. Mix till milk and kalakand incorporates.
  4. Now in other bowl take maida.
  5. Add baking powder.
  6. Add baking soda.
  7. Add cardamom powder.
  8. Add sugar.
  9. Seive this dry mixture two times.
  10. Now let milk and kalakand mixture cool completely.
  11. After cooling mix both the mixtureS.
  12. Grease pan with butter.
  13. Dust flour in it.
  14. Remove extra flour.
  15. Pour mixture in pan.
  16. Keep in preheated oven for 160 degrees celsius for 30 -35 minutes.
  17. Insert toothpick and check if its cooked or not.
  18. If not keep for 5 minutes more.
  19. Remove it and let it cool completely.
  20. Cut into slices and serve with tea or coffee.
My Tip: You can add roasted dry fruits also.
