Teriyaki Pork

Ingredients to make Teriyaki Pork

  • 2 tblsp dark soya sauce
  • 1 tblsp olive oil
  • 1 tbslp brown sugar
  • 1 tbslp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tblsp pineapple juice
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1/2 tsp minced ginger
  • Pinch of red chilli paste
  • 250 grams pork

How to make Teriyaki Pork

  1. Combine soya sauce, oil, sugar, vinegar, pineapple juice, garlic, ginger and red pepper flakes in a bowl. Add the pork tenderloin and massage well. Let it marinate for 1/2 hour minimum otherwise over night.
  2. Heat a grill pan. Drizzle oil and let the grill become super hot. Add the pork and grill on high for 6 to 7 minutes on each side. Remove. And slice.
  3. Add the rest of the marinade on the pan and add the slices. Stir fry for an additional 1 minute.
  4. Serve with hot buttered rice.
