Ingredients to make Butter milk sambhar

  • Buttermilk 1/2 lit
  • Boondi 1/2 small bowl
  • Fresh small greated nariyal 1 no
  • Some Carry leaves
  • Red dry chillies- 3
  • Salt 1/2 tbs
  • Gram masala 1/2 tbs
  • Sauf Dhaniya 1 tbs
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tbs
  • Onion 2 no
  • Some garlic and ginger paste, freshly prepared
  • Green coriander leaves

How to make Butter milk sambhar

  1. Grind nariyal in mixture.
  2. In a kadhai, take 3tbs oil and add jeers, onion and saute it till brown.
  3. Add buttermilk and stairs it continuously.
  4. Now add grinded nariyal.
  5. Now add all spices in it.
  6. After one boiling, add boondi in it.
  7. After 10 minutes switch off gas. Garnish it with green leaves of coriander. Serve it hot with dosa.
