Prawn Coconut Curry

Ingredients to make Prawn Coconut Curry

  • 1/2 kg prawns
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp pepper powder
  • Salt
  • 2 medium onion chopped
  • 2 medium tomato chopped
  • 1/2 tsp dried mango powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • ½ cup thick coconut milk
  • 2 green chillies slit
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

How to make Prawn Coconut Curry

  1. Marinate the prawns with 1/2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt and pepper for 15 minutes
  2. Heat oil in the pan, saute onions and 1/2 tbsp ginger garlic paste till brown.
  3. Add tomatoes and cook till oil leaves the sides. Puree the mixture and return to the pan.
  4. Add all the spices and cook for few more seconds and then add coconut milk.
  5. Add prawns and cook till pink and remove from the heat.
  6. Transfer it to the bowl, sprinkle lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves.
  7. Ready to serve.
