Ingredients to make Skinny Sev Puri

  • 1 cup sprouted whole moong dal
  • 1 medium sized onion finely chopped
  • 1 medium sized tomato finely chopped
  • 1 green chili finely chopped
  • 90 gram yogurt chilled
  • Few coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 medium sized cucumber ( I have used a Persian cucumber)
  • Sev to garnish
  • A pinch of chat masala
  • Salt to taste

How to make Skinny Sev Puri

  1. Mix the sprouted moong dal, onion, tomato, green chilli, cilantro with the yogurt.
  2. Chop the cucumber in disc shapes. Scoop the seeds of the cucumber and add that as well in the curd.
  3. Add salt to taste, red chilli powder and chat masala. Add the curd mixer in the cucumber.
  4. Place it on a serving plate and sprinkle some sev and chat masala to taste
