Ingredients to make Chilly chutney (street food style)

  • Big onion 2 numbers
  • Big tomato 2 numbers
  • Garlic 6 pieces
  • Tamarind a pinch size
  • Jaggery a pinch size
  • Red dry chillies 8 numbers
  • Gingely oil 4 table spoon
  • curry leaves
  • Mustard seeds 1 tea spoon
  • Salt

How to make Chilly chutney (street food style)

  1. In a cooker add oil, onion cubed, tomatoes cubed, tamarind, jaggery, chillies and garlic and cook it till 2 whistles
  2. Don't add water. Cook in low flame only
  3. Add salt and let it cool
  4. Grind into paste
  5. In a kadai fry mustard seed and curry leaves and add it to the chutney

My Tip:

As it is cooked in low flame need not worry about burning. Make sure that water is not added
