Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 3/4 cup roasted gram flour (besan)
  2. 1/3 cup roasted fine semolina (sooji)
  3. 1/2 cup milk powder
  4. 1/3 cup sugar ( u can increase or decrease sugar as per your taste)
  5. 1/4 cup refined oil or unsalted melted butter
  6. 1/2 cup chopped dry fruits of your choice(I used almonds, cashew nuts and raisins)
  7. 1 tsp baking powder
  8. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  9. 1 tsp vanilla essence
  10. 1/2 cup Milk

Instructions

  1. First of all mix all dry ingredients together except sugar.
  2. Mix milk , oil, sugar and vanilla essence together and whisk till sugar melt.
  3. Now add both dry and wet ingredients together and fold to make batter.
  4. The batter should neither runny nor very thick.
  5. If you find it thick then add some more milk.
  6. Now bake the cake in preheated oven at 180°c for 20-25 mins.
  7. Keep an eye on it after 20 mins and check with skewer or knife for doneness.
  8. In my second attempt, I decorated my cake with almonds , which gave a nice crunch and beauty as well.
  9. Now your cake is ready to gobble up.
