Ingredients to make SMOKED PANEER

  • Cottage cheese. Cut in cubes 100 gms
  • Spring onion 2
  • Tomatoes cut finely 2
  • Tomato puree 1/4 cup
  • Tomato sauce 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Corriender pwd 1 tsp
  • Cumin pwd 1/2 tsp
  • Green cardamom pwd 1/8 tsp
  • Green chill 1
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp + 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp

How to make SMOKED PANEER

  1. Cut white of spring onion into rounds
  2. Heat oil in pan,add onions and fry till brown.
  3. Add tomatoes and cook for 2 min.Mix puree and cook for another 2 min. Stir well for another min.after adding tomato sauce.
  4. Add salt, chilli,turmeric, cumin pwd ,corriender powder and stir well
  5. Now add paneer, mix well and add 1/2 cup water .Let it cook for 3-4 min
  6. Remove from fire.Take a piece of coal heat it well on the flame.as it becomes red hot,pour oil on it and keep smoked coal piece in cooked paneer.
  7. Let it stay covered for 10 min
