Kidney beans and Chana Salad

Ingredients to make Kidney beans and Chana Salad

  • Red Kidney Bean - 1 cup
  • White Chane - 1 cup
  • Cucumber (without seeds)- 1
  • Capsicum - 1
  • Tomato - 1
  • Potato- 1
  • Lemon - 1/2
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper- 1/4 tbsp

How to make Kidney beans and Chana Salad

  1. Soak the beans and white chane for a whole night.
  2. In the morning, boil the kidney beans, white chane and 1 potato in a cooker.
  3. Once they come to room temperature, wash them properly with normal water and strain.
  4. Chop the cucumber, capsicum, tomato and boiled potato in a bowl. Add in the boiled beans, chane and mix it well and salt, pepper as per taste.
  5. Sprinkle lemon juice in it and serve instantly for best taste.
My Tip: You can add onion if you like however as I do not like raw onions in the morning, thus I have avoided this.
