Heavenly Filled Donuts

Ingredients to make Heavenly Filled Donuts

  • 250 grams plain flour/apf
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon dry active yeast
  • 3/4 cup lukewarm milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 4 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 250 grams milk chocolate
  • oil for frying and greasing
  • Crushed nuts
  • Sprinkles

How to make Heavenly Filled Donuts

  1. To lukewarm milk, add yeast and sugar. Mix well. Cover and place this in a lukewarm place for 10 minutes.
  2. Take flour in a kneading plate and add the milk. Knead the dough until smooth and soft but little sticky. Knead for atleast 8 minutes. Add 3 tablespoons softened butter and incorporate well.
  3. Grease a large bowl with some oil. Place the dough in it and grease a little oil over it also. Cover and keep in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours or until it has doubled in size.
  4. Take out the dough and roll it using a rolling pin. Cut cirlces using a drinking glass and holes using a small bottle cap. Lay the donuts on a lightly floured surface and cover and keep it for another 30 minutes to double in size.
  5. Heat sufficient oil in a wok and fry these donuts on low-medium flame until crispy golden brown.
  6. Keep these on a cooling rack and let them come to room temperature.
  7. Meanwhile prepare your filling. Melt milk chocolate in a microwave safe bowl, let it cool a bit and add cream in it. Whip until the consistency changes a little bit. Put this in a piping bag,
  8. Using a toothpick prick a hole in one side of the donut and rotate in a little to make some space for the filling. Pipe filling inside it until it start coming out of it.
  9. Decorate them as you like and sprinkle some nuts and sprinkles on top of them!
