Fried garlic chutney is very tasty. It is very simple, delicious and good accompany with Rotti, dosa, idli and so on.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Cooking oil 2 tsp
  2. Red chilli 2-3
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Grated coconut 1 cup
  5. Garlic cloves 8-10
  6. Turmeric powder a pinch
  7. Tamarind 1/2 gooseberry sized
  8. Water 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. HEAT OIL AND FRY RED CHILLI
  2. FRY GARLIC TILL GOLDEN BROWN
  3. TURMERIC POWDER AND COCONUT
  4. ADD TAMARIND AND TRANSFER THE FRIED ITEMS IN TO MIXER GRINDER
  5. ADD SOME WATER
  6. GRIND COARSELY AND ADD SALT, CONTINUE GRINDING TILL SMOOTH
  7. TRANSFER THE GROUND CHUTNEY IN TO A VESSEL AND SERVING BOWL
