Crispy Agar Agar

Ingredients to make Crispy Agar Agar

  • Agar agar - 2tbsp (soked)
  • Milk - 150 ml
  • sugar - 11/2 tsp
  • Butterscotch essence - 2 to 3 drops
  • For coating:
  • Corn flour - 1/2 tbsp
  • Rice flour - 1tbsp
  • turmeric powder - pinch
  • Aniseed powder - 1/8 tsp
  • red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • (Mix the above ingredients in a bowl, keep it aside)
  • Egg -1 beated(add little salt to it)

How to make Crispy Agar Agar

  1. POUR MILK IN A VESSEL AND ALLOW IT TO BOIL.
  2. ADD AGAR AGAR TO IT.
  3. STIR WELL TILL AGAR AGAR GETS DISSOLVED.
  4. ADD SUGAR TO IT.
  5. SWITCH OFF THE FLAME, ADD BUTTERSCOTCH ESSENCE TO IT.
  6. AFTER SOMETIME IT WILL GET HARDENED. CUT INTO SMALL PIECES
  7. DIP IT IN MELTED CHOCOLATE, FREEZE IT FOR 30 MINUTES OR MORE
  8. COAT WELL WITH BEATED EGG AND RICE FLOUR MIXTURE FOR 2 TO 3 TIMES
  9. SHALLOW FRY IT FOR A MINUTE.
