Ingredients to make Gram flour Chutney for Fafda, Ganthia and Pakoda.

  • gram flour 1/2 bowl.
  • water 2 1/2 bowl.
  • curd 1/2 bowl.
  • coriander leaves chopped 2/2 bowl.
  • mint leaves 1/4 bowl.
  • green chillies 2
  • ginger grated / crushed 1 tbsp
  • salt to taste.
  • Sanchal ( black salt) 1/4 tsp
  • asafoetida for seasoning
  • mustard seeds for seasoning.
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • sugar 1 tbsp ( optional)

How to make Gram flour Chutney for Fafda, Ganthia and Pakoda.

  1. Grind Coriander leaves, mint, ginger and chillies .
  2. Mix gram flour and curd by adding water. Mix well not to form any lumps.
  3. You can blend mixture too.
  4. Transfer gram flour mixture in a pan. Cook on a medium flame by adding salt and black salt.
  5. Cook for 7 to 8 minutes stirring constantly.
  6. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add Asafoetida and mustard seeds.
  7. After it crackles add to the gram flour mixture.
  8. If you want little thinner consistency can add some warm water.
  9. Check the salt. Turn off the flame.
  10. Transfer in a bowl.
  11. Add green chutney to it.
  12. Enjoy with Fafda, Ganthia, Onion Pakoda.
  13. This chutney also tastes awesome with other fried snacks.
  14. You also can enjoy with Jowar roti, Rice bhakhari and even with lhalhra
