  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 small tomato (finely chopped)
  • 2 green chilies (finely chopped)

How to make Chana Pita

  1. Slit all the kulchas from top to middle in order to make a pocket. Keep them aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl add warm boiled chickpeas, onion, tomato, green chilies, coriander, salt, chat masala and dry mango powder. Combine everything well.
  3. Stuff a tablespoon or so to each kulcha pocket. Heat a non sticky pan & warm all the pockets from both sides just before serving.
My Tip: The stuffing can be changed to desired ingredients. Such as salad, falafel or potato-cheese mixtures are also great to try out.
