ABOUT Spicy bata fish . RECIPE

Perfect side dish, made with fish to be served with some steamed rice.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bata fish 4 pcs.
  2. Turmeric powder 2 tbsp.
  3. Red chilli powder 2 tbsp
  4. Tomato 1 ( sliced ).
  5. Onion paste 2 tbsp.
  6. Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp.
  7. Coriander leaves as needed.
  8. Salt as needed.
  9. Green chillies 2 pc.
  10. Black cumin seeds 1 tsp.
  11. Mustard oil 1/2 cup.

Instructions

  1. Marinate the fish with turmeric & salt for 5 minutes.
  2. Swallow fry the fish & keep aside.
  3. Add mustard oil in a pan.
  4. Add black cumin seeds & green chillies .
  5. Add onion paste & ginger garlic paste in it.
  6. Add tomato slice.
  7. Add turmeric powder , salt , red chilli powder accordingly.
  8. Add the fried fishes.
  9. Add 1/2 cup water & cook for 5 minutes in low flame.
  10. Lastly turn off the heat & sprinkle coriander leaves.
  11. Serve with steamed rice.
