Ingredients to make Popcorn pakouda

  • 5 cup popped popcorn
  • 3/4cup chickpea flour
  • 1/2teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • 1teaspoon black pepper
  • 1teaspoon mango powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4cup green corriander
  • 2 chopped green chilli
  • oil to fry
  • water as required

How to make Popcorn pakouda

  1. POP THE CORN AS INSTRUCTED ON THE PACK .
  2. SET TIMER OF 3 MINUTES
  3. TAKE OUT THE POPPED POPCORN CAREFULLY
  4. TAKE IT OUT IN A BIG BOWL
  5. TAKE 3/4CUP BESAN ADD SOME WATER AND MAKE A SMOOTH THICK BATTER.
  6. WHISK PROPERLY TO AVOID LUMPS
  7. ADD SALT AND RED CHILLI POWDER
  8. ADD MANGO POWDER AND ROASTED CUMIN POWDER
  9. ADD BLACK PEPPER
  10. ADD ONE CUP CHOPPED ONION
  11. ADD CORRIANDER LEAVESAND CHOPPED GREEN CHILIES
  12. MIX WELL IF NEEDED ADD SOME MORE WATER AND MAKE A THICK SMOOTH BATTER
  13. ADD 5 CUPS OF POPPED POPCORN
  14. ADD POPPED POPCORN
  15. MIX WELL AND MAKE PAKODA BATTER
  16. HEAT OIL IN WOK
  17. PUT PAKOUDA BALLS IN HOT OIL
  18. FRY TILL GOLDEN AND CRISP
  19. DRAIN OUT ON THE TISSUE PAPER TO AVOID EXTRA OIL
  20. CRISP AND CRUNCHY POPCORN PAKOUDA IS READY
