Cabbage sabzi

Ingredients to make Cabbage sabzi

  • 1 cabbage medium shreadded
  • 2 tomatoes chopped
  • 3 green chillies chopped
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1.5 tsp red chilli powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 2 potatoes diced
  • 1 tbsp green peas
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tsp ghee

How to make Cabbage sabzi

  1. Heat oil in pan. Add bay leaf and cumin. Add the potatoes.. saute.
  2. Add green chillies and tomatoes. Mix well. Cover and cook till potatoes are soft and tomato is mushy
  3. Add turmeric powder and red chilli powder. Add salt and sugar. Cook till oil separates . Add peas
  4. Add the cabbage mix well. On medium to low flame let it cook for 20 min. Add garam masala
  5. Add ghee. Mix well.
  6. Serve
  7. Add the cabba
