This is a recipe of a delicious starter or appetizer for any party occasions, made with bananas.

Banana forida

Ingredients to make Banana forida

  • semolina-1 cup
  • Firm bananas-2
  • salt- to taste
  • turmeric powder- a dash
  • chilli powder- to sprinkle
  • ginger garlic paste- 2 tsp
  • oil- to shallow fry

How to make Banana forida

  1. Take firm bananas and cut into thin slices.
  2. Add salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and marinate well for 15 min.
  3. In a bowl, add semolina, salt and chilli powder and keep aside.
  4. Heat a non stick pan, and add oil to it.
  5. From the marinated bowl, take out a slice of banana and dip it in the semolina bowl and place them in the non stick pan. Fry on both sides and place them in a serving plate.
  6. Serve it along with onion and lemon juice sprinkled on it.

My Tip:

Please use food gloves before cooking with banana
