Sweet And Sour Fried Rice

Ingredients to make Sweet And Sour Fried Rice

  • 2 cups boiled rice
  • 2 spring onions (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tsp red chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp ginger (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbs garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbs soya sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Vinegar
  • 2 tbs honey
  • 2 tbs oil
  • Salt to taste

How to make Sweet And Sour Fried Rice

  1. In a wok, heat oil. Add ginger and garlic and saute for a minute. Then add spring onions and saute till soft.
  2. Add the chilli sauce, soya sauce, vinegar and honey. Add salt if required. Mix well.
  3. Add the rice and toss well so that rice and the sauces are mixed well.
  4. Garnish with chopped spring onion greens and serve hot.

My Tip:

Vinegar and honey can be adjusted as per taste. Add shredded boiled chicken to make chicken fried rice.
