About Methi Paneer gravy Recipe

Rich and creamy paneer gravy with kasuri methi flavour will be a perfect gravy for naan,roti or rice.

Methi Paneer gravy

Ingredients to make Methi Paneer gravy

  • onion - 1 cup ( Finely chopped )
  • yogurt - ¼ cup
  • all purpose flour - 1 tsp
  • garlic - 3 tsp ( Finely chopped )
  • ginger - 1 inch piece ( grated )
  • turmeric powder - ½ tsp
  • Garam masala powder - ½ tsp
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • coriander powder - 2 tsp
  • Fresh cream - 2 tbsp
  • paneer - 200 g
  • lemon juice - 2 tsp
  • honey - 1 tsp
  • Kasuri methi - 2 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil - 4 tbsp
  • coriander leaves few

How to make Methi Paneer gravy

  1. Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan. Once the oil is hot, add garlic and fry for a few seconds.
  2. Add onion and ginger and fry till onion turns slightly brown.
  3. Whisk yogurt with flour and add it in the pan. Cook for a minute.
  4. Add coriander powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and salt. Add little water and cook for a minute.
  5. Now add paneer, cream, kasuri methi, lemon juice and honey and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add water if required and cook for another minute.
  7. Gravy is ready. Add chopped coriander leaves and serve
