About Stuffed mirchis Recipe

This mirchi is not too spicy, even children can enjoy this with paranthas or rice.

Stuffed mirchis

Ingredients to make Stuffed mirchis

  • Red thick chillies around 250 gms
  • cumin seeds 2 tsp
  • Dry mango powder 2 tbsp
  • coriander powder, a little granulated (not a powdered one)
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • salt as per taste
  • chilli powder 1 tsp
  • sugar 1/2 tsp
  • asafoetida 1 pinch

How to make Stuffed mirchis

  1. Take a wok and heat around 2 tsp oil. Now add the fennel sseds, cumin, asafoetida, all the masalas, sugar, salt, mango powder. Stir it well for 5 mins.
  2. Then let the masalas cool down.
  3. Now take the mirchis and slit them from between, add the stuffing and put the mirchi in the same wok. You can add more oil if you want and stir it slowly. Cover the wok with a lid for 5 mins.
  4. Serve with paranthas and enjoy!
