About Rose Thandai Recipe

Holi Special Rose Thandai. Get rid of those harmful aerated drinks and serve your family and guests the traditional Indian way to welcoming and honouring.

Rose Thandai

Ingredients to make Rose Thandai

  • 1 tsp rose water
  • 2 tbsp poppy seeds.
  • 2 drops rose food colour
  • 1/2 tsp rose essence
  • 2 tsp sauf
  • 2 elaichi green
  • 1 cup rose patels
  • 6 pepper
  • 10 almonds soaked and peeled
  • 1 liter milk
  • 1/2 tin Nestlé Milkmaid Sweetened condensed milk

How to make Rose Thandai

  1. Grind soaked and peeled almonds, rose petals, poppy seeds, elaichi and sauf to a fine paste.
  2. Blend with other ingredients till well mixed. Strain.
  3. Now add 1/2 can Nestle milkmaid and blend for a minute.
  4. Half fill each glass with crushed ice and top up with the above mixture.
  5. Serve chilled. Garnish with rose petals.

My Tip:

You can add dry Rose powder in Thandai.
