About Cabbage Mayonnaise Recipe

A healthy mayonnaise which is best for sandwiches and a dip for any fries. Low calorie and yummy.

Cabbage Mayonnaise

Ingredients to make Cabbage Mayonnaise

  • cabbage - 1 cup (white part)
  • cream - 1 tbsp
  • Yellow mustard - 1 tsp
  • White pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • lemon juice - 2 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • olive oil 7 - 8 tbsp

How to make Cabbage Mayonnaise

  1. Cook the cabbage white part with some water for 10 minutes. Drain them and cool completely then add cream and grind to a fine paste.
  2. Take 5 tbsp of cabbage pulp, add lemon juice, sugar, yellow mustard, white pepper powder and grind well in a mixer.
  3. Open the top lid of mixer and slowly add olive oil and beat gradually. Add in salt, beat till it forms a thick sauce texture.

My Tip:

Remove cabbage greens and keep aside for curries and side dishes use only inner white part for mayo. Adjust salt to taste.
