Ragi Sakkarppara/ Ragi Fried Biscuits

Ingredients to make Ragi Sakkarppara/ Ragi Fried Biscuits

  • Oil or ghee as required
  • Ragi flour 1 cup
  • wheat 4 tsp
  • sugar 1/4 cup
  • ghee 1 tsp
  • salt as pinch
  • cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • water as required

How to make Ragi Sakkarppara/ Ragi Fried Biscuits

  1. In bowl add ragi flour,wheat flour,cardamom powder,salt,powdered sugar and ghee.Add water and knead it to make dough.
  2. Cover it and rest it for 30 min.
  3. After sprinkle flour and roll out into like thick chapathi.now cut into small square shapes.and leave it for 5 min.
  4. In pan heat oil.deep fry the biscuits.
  5. Cook for 5-10 min in low flame.after take it out and drain on absorbent paper.
  6. Store it in airtight container.
  7. Yummy sweet fried ragi biscuits are ready.
