About Veg Dill Leaves Recipe

A healthy vegetarian dish. Children will like this recipe as it is made with potato, capsicum, tomato and onion.

Veg Dill Leaves

Ingredients to make Veg Dill Leaves

  • 4 medium sized potatoes
  • 1 capsicum
  • 1 large sized onion
  • 1 medium sized tomato
  • salt to taste
  • 1-2 green chillies
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp dhaniya powder
  • 1 tbsp oil

How to make Veg Dill Leaves

  1. First peel the skin of the potatoes and cut into long slices.
  2. In a pan heat oil and saute the potato slices properly by adding salt and turmeric powder. Then take it out and keep aside.
  3. Once again, heat oil in a pan and saute the onion, tomato and capsicum. Once it's sauted well add the dill leaves and stir it properly, when the oil starts coming on the edge add in the sauted potato slices.
  4. Next, add the chillies and coriander powder and stir well.
  5. Serve it hot with roti or paratha.

My Tip:

Add the masalas when all the vegetables are sauted. Mix it properly, add salt and haldi to gain a better colour.
