About Poha Recipe

Its a very quick recipe for a delicious breakfast made with flattened rice.

Ingredients to make Poha

  • Poha - 100gram
  • onion - 1
  • salt - as per taste
  • cumin seeds - 1/2tablespoon
  • mustard seeds - 1/2tablespoon
  • turmeric powder - 3/4tablepsoon
  • oil - 2tablespoon
  • curry leaves - few
  • sugar - 1/2tablespoon
  • lemon juice - 1tablespoon
  • Green chillie - 1
  • carrot grated - 2-3tablespoon
  • cilantro - For garnishing

How to make Poha

  1. Wash the poha and drain it once its drain nicely remove it in a plate.
  2. In a pan add oil,curry leaves,cumin & mustard seeds than add onion saute it nicely.
  3. Add green chilli to it than add salt and sugar and turmeric powder.
  4. Laslty add poha and lemon juice to it and grated carrot.
  5. Mix it nicely put some cilantro than cover and cook it for about 5mins.
