About Rawa unni appam Recipe

A sweet snack with rawa & maida.

Rawa unni appam

Ingredients to make Rawa unni appam

  • Rawa [semolina] 1 cup
  • maida 1 cup
  • jaggery syrup 1/2 cup ( or according to ur taste )
  • Small banana 1
  • Sesame seeds 1tbsp
  • Dry ginger powder 2 pinch
  • cardamom powder 2 pinch
  • salt 1 pinch
  • oil to deep fry.

How to make Rawa unni appam

  1. Soak rawa for an hrs.
  2. Mash banana well & make a batter with all the ingredients given, except oil.add enough water.the consistency should be of dosa batter.
  3. Heat oil in appam chatti & make appam.
  4. Cook both sides well. Drain oil.
  5. Store in airtight container. You can keep in fridge & just micro for a min before serving.

My Tip:

We can use sugar also instead of jaggery. With wheat flour also we can make this same appam.
