Paneer cheese balls

Ingredients to make Paneer cheese balls

  • 1/2 cup of paneer grated
  • 2 Cheese cubes ( cut nto small pieces)
  • 1/2 cup boiled potatoes
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • coriander leaves few
  • cornflour 2 tablespoons + 1 tablespoon
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • oil to fry

How to make Paneer cheese balls

  1. In a bowl, add the mashed potatoes, salt, pepper, chilli powder, 1 teaspoon corn flour and chopped coriander leaves.
  2. Make small balls of the dough, press it in hand and place small cubebof cheese in it and roll again like a ball.
  3. Mix Corn flour in water and keep it aside. Take breadcrumbs in a plate.
  4. Dip the rolled balls in the cornflour mixture and roll it on bread crumbs.
  5. Deep fry them in medium hot oil. You can even freeze the balls for 15 minutes and then fry.

My Tip:

Can serve with ketchup or green chutney
