Ingredients to make Mangai inji carrot pisaral

  • 50gms mangai inji ..a veriety of ginger
  • Raw mango 1/2cup cut into tiny peices
  • One carrot cut into tiny peices
  • For tempering
  • 1tsp of mustard seed
  • Half teaspoon of hing
  • Juice of one small lime
  • Green chilly 1 cut into peices salt to taste

How to make Mangai inji carrot pisaral

  1. Cut ginger carrot and raw mango into tiny peices and keep in a bowl
  2. In 2 teaspoon oil add mustard seed, when it crackles add the chilly and hing saute and mix it with the ginger carrot mango mix. Add salt and the lime juice. Stir or tilt the entire mixture and leave it for 15to 20 mins before serving
My Tip: Mangai inji is seasonal but you can use tender ginger
