Ingredients Serving: 7

  1. Carrot...1/2kg
  2. Mawa...100gm
  3. Liquid Date Palm jaggery...1cup
  4. Cardamom powder...1tspn
  5. Paneer...100gm(for gulab jamun)
  6. Milk powder...4tspn
  7. Flour...1tspn
  8. Semolina...1tspn
  9. Cardamom powder...1tspn
  10. Sugar...1cup
  11. Water...1cup

Instructions

  1. Make a soft dough of paneer,milk powder,semolina,flour,cardamom powder & a tspn of sugar.
  2. Make small balls from the dough.
  3. Heat ghee & deep fry the jamuns in medium heat till it turns golden brown.
  4. Make sugar syrup & dip the gulab jamuns in it for 15 mins & then take out.
  5. Heat 2tspn ghee in a pan & add grated carrot in it.Stir it constantly.
  6. Add mawa,liquid jaggery & cardamom powder.Mix it well.Carrot has its own water, so I did'nt use milk or water for boiling.Cover it &cook it well.
  7. When the mixture will start to leave the sides of the pan, switch off the flame.
  8. Now take a square box, spread some carrot sandesh evenly in it.
  9. Put some gulab jamuns in the centre line of the mixture.
  10. Cover it with some carrot sandesh again & keep it in fridge for 2 to 3 hours.
  11. After that take out from fridge & cut it into pieces.
