Besanacha ghatt Pithla

Ingredients to make Besanacha ghatt Pithla

  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp chilli - garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp of gram flour
  • 1/2 + 1 and 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Chopped coriander
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

How to make Besanacha ghatt Pithla

  1. In a pan, heat oil and add the onion and chilli-garlic paste. Put in salt and turmeric as per taste. Keep stirring.
  2. Meanwhile in a bowl add 1 tbsp of sieved gram flour and pour in 1/2 cup of water. Mix till it becomes a smooth paste. Now add 1 and 1/2 cup of more water and mix again.
  3. Pour this mixture into the pan with stirred onion and garlic stuff. Keep stirring continuously as it should not stick to the bottom of the pan.
  4. Once the mixture thickens, add the chopped coriander and 1 tsp of lemon juice. Once the mixture attains the required consistency remove it from the stove.
  5. Serve it hot.
