SWEET CORN TIKKI

Ingredients to make SWEET CORN TIKKI

  • Sweet Corn-1 -1/2 Cup
  • Potato 4 boiled, peeled and mashed
  • Onion 1 cup
  • Green Chillies 4
  • Ginger 1 pc
  • Garlic 4
  • Mint 6
  • Coriander 2 tsp
  • Salt
  • Garam masala -1 tsp
  • Sugar-1 tsp
  • Bread-2 Slices
  • Oil as required

How to make SWEET CORN TIKKI

  1. Boil, peel and mash potatoes
  2. Grind 1/2 Cup Sweet Corn, green chillies, garlic ginger in a blender,coarsely.
  3. In a Bowl, add mashed potatoes, remaining sweet Corn, blended corn, spices, onions- chopped and the dry masalas. Mix well. Add finely chopped mint & coriander too
  4. Dip bread in water, squeeze excess water and add to it.
  5. Divide the dough into balls and flatten it.
  6. In a non-stick Pan,take some oil, place this tikki and shallow fry, till crisp on both sides...
  7. Yummy, easy, crispy tikkis are ready
  8. Serve hot with tomato ketchup
My Tip: Use a Non-stick pan. Fry well before flipping
