Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup Kuttu flour
  2. ½ cup Soaked sabudana
  3. 1 large mashed potato
  4. 1 tps red chilli powder
  5. ½ tps cumin powder
  6. ½ tps fennel powder
  7. 1 tbsp chopped green chillies
  8. 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  9. Rock salt to taste (sendha namak)
  10. Water as required

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add all the ingredients together except water and combine it well.
  2. Add required quantity of water to the mixture and mix it well to make a thick paste out of it.
  3. In a pan heat oil and drop spoonfuls of the kuttu fritter batter in the oil.
  4. Deep fry the fritters till golden and crisp.
  5. Drain the fritters on kitchen paper towels to remove extra oil. Serve hot with curd and coriander chutney.

Hello Shilpi, Karishma and Meera, Kuttu atta is Buckwheat flour. The triangular seeds are rich in complex carbohydrates. It is a gluten free flour. It is not a grain and hence eaten during fasts. It is available in all the grocery stores.
