Chole Tikki

Ingredients to make Chole Tikki

  • Chana - 4 cups
  • Chopped Coriander 1/4 cup
  • Chopped Pudina 1/4 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Bread crumbs 1/2 cup
  • Chopped green chillies 2
  • Ginger Garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Lemon 1
  • Onion 1
  • Oil to deep fry
  • Few curry leaves
  • Hing as per taste

How to make Chole Tikki

  1. Soak the chana overnight, next day grind in a mixer. Add coriander , pudina and curry leaves. Add salt.
  2. Mix and add bread crumbs, chopped green chillies and mix well. Make tikkis of desired shape.
  3. Add sufficient oil in a deep pan, deep fry the tikkis. Fry till nice golden brown.
  4. Serve hot with onion rings and lemon slices.
