  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Mint leaves 1/4 cup
  • Roasted jeera powder 1/2 tsp
  • Black Salt (kala namak) 3/4 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/4 tsp

How to make Loquat Panna

  1. Pressure cook the loquat in 1/2 cup of water. Remove the skin and seeds.
  2. Mix the pulp, sugar, black salt pepper in a blender and make a puree.
  3. Take a pan, boil 3 cups of water and the loquat puree. Add the crushed mint leaves. Boil it for 15 mins and add the roasted zeera and fill it in sterilized bottles.
  4. In a glass pour some ice, add the panna concentrate and add water. Adjust the sweetness as per taste.
My Tip: Note: Without preservative it can stay for 2-3 days in the fridge. Make one string sugar syrup and cook the loquat puree in it. It can stay for a longer time.
