About Narkel Narus/Bengali Coconut Laddoos Recipe

This coconut laddoos get ready really very quick, quite an easy breezy sweet. Malini used dark muscovado sugar and condensed milk, but i prepared mine with jaggery and unsweetened condensed milk. Unsweetened condensed milk aka evaporated milk and jaggery together works prefectly, these laddoos are one of the very easy sweet i have tried till now. If you need something quick as a sweet for a pooja or to serve your sudden guest, you must definitely give a try to this fabulous dish.

Narkel Narus/Bengali Coconut Laddoos

Ingredients to make Narkel Narus/Bengali Coconut Laddoos

  • 2 cups Grated coconut
  • 1 cup Evaporated Milk
  • 1/2 cup jaggery

How to make Narkel Narus/Bengali Coconut Laddoos

  1. Take the coconut milk and jaggery in a heavy bottomed vessel, cook everything on medium flame for 10 minutes and cook on simmer until the liquid evaporates and you get a sticky, thick mixture.
  2. Form little balls out of the slightly warm mixture with your hands. Place on a plate and chill it in fridge for atleast two hours.
  3. Beware these laddoos are quite addictive.
