Ingredients to make Kholshe mach with Kacha Tomatoes

  • Cleaned Kholshe fish 300 gms
  • Green tomatoes 100 gms
  • Onion 100 gms
  • Green chillies 2
  • Tumeric powder 1tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Corriander powder 1 tsp
  • Salt as needed
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Fresh corriander leaves, few
  • Mustard paste 1 tsp
  • Water as needed

How to make Kholshe mach with Kacha Tomatoes

  1. Wash and marianate the fish in salt and tumeric powder.
  2. Chop the onions and tomatoes. Keep aside.
  3. Deep fry this fish in the oil and keep aside.
  4. In the same oil add the onion and fry till they become soft. Add the tomatoes and soften it.
  5. Add in the musturd paste and all the dry spices and salt.
  6. Stir and add water to make a gravy. Add the fish to it. Cover and cook for a few minutes.
  7. Garnish with chopped chilli and corriander leaves.

My Tip:

When you make the mustard paste then grind it with a bit of salt and chilli to make it tasty.
