Instant Paddu/Appe/Paniyaram

Ingredients to make Instant Paddu/Appe/Paniyaram

  • Soji 1 cup
  • Rice flour 1/2 cup
  • Onion 1/2
  • Tomato 1/2
  • Green chilies 2
  • Coriander leaves
  • Jeera 1/4 tsp
  • Soda 1/4 tsp
  • Salt
  • oil

How to make Instant Paddu/Appe/Paniyaram

  1. Combine all the ingredients together in a bowl. Add water and mix well, it should be of dosa consistency. Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat the paddu pan on a medium flame and pour oil into all the individual moulds.
  3. Next, pour spoonful of the batter into the moulds, taking care to fill up till a little below the brim. Turn the balls and fry on both sides till their skin becomes golden brown. Remove the cooked paddu balls from the paddu pan.
  4. Serve this tasty paddu with chutney.
