The festive season of Navratri is here, and it is time for both: revelry and fasting. During the nine days, people observe a strict fast. During the fast, devotees avoid non-vegetarian food and other ingredients like onion, garlic etc. Devotees switch to satvik diets and the permissible ingredients like sabudana, sendha namak, kuttu ka atta, singhare ka atta and certain vegetables. To make your Navratri more amazing with delicious foods ,we bring to you the 10 special Traditional Navratri dishes.

Sabudana Khichdi :

Prepared using sago (sabudana), potatoes, peanuts, ghee and mild spices this dish gives a much needed instant energy boost while fasting as, Sabudana is full of starch or carbohydrates

Vrat Aloo Chaat :

Vrat Millet Samak Rice Kichidi :
