Kondakadalai Sundal/Kabuli chana Sundal

Ingredients to make Kondakadalai Sundal/Kabuli chana Sundal

  • 1 cup of kabuli chana (soaked overnight)boiled
  • 1tbsp coconut oil
  • 2Tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 pinch asafoetida powder
  • curry leaves
  • salt
  • 1/4tsp turmeric powder
  • Red chillies 2-3
  • Grated coconut 1/4cup
  • Chopped coriander to garnish

How to make Kondakadalai Sundal/Kabuli chana Sundal

  1. Boil the soaked the chana with salt and turmeric powder. In a wok add oil and put mustard seeds to splutter
  2. Put asafoetida powder, curry leaves and red chillies
  3. Add the boiled chana to this and some more salt as per taste
  4. Stir and add grated coconut and give it a good stir
  5. Garnish with coriander and serve hot.

My Tip:

Make sure that you don't over boil the chana.
